I put a couple shots taken outside of this one in the finished stone section. This is my best opal. It's Old Field Mintabie which is harder that most opal, like Andamooka or Allan's Rise. This is the best crystal opal I think I've ever seen. The colours are truly fantastic. Very bright and it looks like lights are on inside the stone. This one changes color in different light, the darker the room the more the reds come out. The blues really show in daylight. This is crystal opal; super-gem quality at it''s finest. This top gem has true, vivid, saturated color with flash-fire pattern. Reds with two blues and all the other colors. It doesn't matter which direction you hold it to see it's full color. 65.9 carats at $325.00 per carat for a total of $21,417.50.
