Coober Pedy opal, Shell Patch. Beautiful piece of harlequin crystal opal. Large squarish patches of blasting colour as the stone is turned. You can see through at certain angles to see deeper color layers. The piece has been faced to show the pattern and the thickness of the crystal bar and can be seen in the pictures. 82.8 carats or .53 oz.
